Converting an Old Courthouse Into Luxury Short-Stay Apartments

Converting an Old Courthouse Into Luxury Short-Stay Apartments
Funded: £610,000
Location: Wolverhampton
Property Type: Residential
Funds For: Development
Timeframe: Client Deadline

Our client approached us requesting funding to transform a historic former courtroom, most recently used as a nightclub into high-end serviced apartments.

The building had already been acquired with their own capital, but the client required fast, flexible funding to commence renovation and conversion works immediately.

Lowry Capital provided £610,000 in development funding, with further drawdowns available as the project progressed.

The building has now been successfully converted and launched as a collection of spacious, modern 2- and 3-bedroom serviced apartments featuring fully equipped kitchens, smart TVs, workspaces, high-speed internet and bi-weekly housekeeping, in a prime city-centre location.

A strong example of Lowry Capital’s ability to fund complex, characterful conversions of listed buildings across the UK, helping clients unlock the value of unique properties and bring premium accommodation to market quickly and efficiently.
